How to Play Boogie Woogie Piano – Lick #5 (part 3/3) Advanced
There are 8 essential licks to learn in the mastery of the Boogie Woogie Piano style. By learning these 8 licks and their variations, I believe that a student can then recognize and learn by ear the majority of right hand licks that they will encounter on boogie woogie and blues recordings.
This video corresponds to the information on page 60 in “How to Play Boogie Woogie Piano”.

1) The Lick (beginners can stop here)
2) Variations on a theme (Intermediate students can benefit)
