Learn Better With Pianote Foundation Books:

DON’T think like a piano player!

In this lesson, Jay Oliver shows you how to use Guitar voicings to create some unique sounds on the piano.

Using techniques from other instruments can sometimes lead you to new harmonies and sounds that you can use in your playing!

I’ve started using this when I practice and it’s been so much fun to experiment with the different sounds that I could create without using the Root position of a triad.

Here’s a quick look at this lesson!

– The chord progression – 0:30
– The right hand – 1:12
– Adding the left hand – 1:31
– Putting it together – 1:50
– Adding extra chords (advanced) – 2:45
– The final product – 4:08

This may sound super difficult to play, but it’s way easier than you think!!

Let me know how easy or hard this was for you to learn and send us a video of you playing,
I would love to see it!
